Manifestation and the Law of Attraction

Looonnnggg story ahead.

The year was 2008. I just finished the most amazing self help book The Journey by Brandon Bays and i determined right there and then that i MUST meet her in person.

I went to her website and printed the website header out. Then i wrote on above, "Thank you universe for letting me meet Brandon Bays in 2008!!!" and i pasted it on my cubicle wall.

I went to look up her workshop schedule and was dismayed to see that she only travels to USA and UK. During this time, my son was a toddler and still breastfeeding. But i decided i will bring him and the husband along because i want to meet her, NO MATTER WHAT.

A couple of months later, i attended my past life regression training (which was fabulous by the way) and i met this guy who was also at the training. We started chatting and then...

... Out of NOWHERE, he told me about The Journey and that Brandon Bays was coming to SINGAPORE!

I was flabbergasted. And over the moon with joy!

Of cos, i went for her workshop that was literally right at my doorstep, and on the last day at the end, there was a chance to talk to her for a few minutes. I showed her my manifestation printout with the website header and statement.

She looked at me, taken aback. She had mentioned during the workshop that she suddenly had the urge to come to Singapore even though the number of participants who came could fit in her living room (she must live in a mansion cos there were at least 30 of us!). So when she saw my manifestation printout, it felt like she was eyeing me, thinking, "so it's you".

I did chat with some of the participants during the workshop and quite a number of them shared that they just happened to chance upon the book a few months before the workshop.

I don't really know if i singlehandedly brought Brandon Bays to Singapore or if i was just part of the divine plan.

But one thing I know for sure from this experience is...

"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." - The Alchemist (another one of my fave books)

Of cos, it has to be in your highest good too. The universe will never give you something that isn't good for your soul. But if it is good for you, and you want it very very badly, it's gonna happen!

Maybe not in a day.

Maybe not in a month.

Maybe not even in a year.

Another quick story to share that i read in the newspapers about 1.5 decades ago.

A lady wrote affirmations about winning the lottery for a year and ended up winning the top prize.

Read that again please.

For.

A.

Year.

Who can do that except for the most determined and faithful person?

She did it and she deserved it i say!

So when you have a strong desire and you want to manifest it into reality, you may be wondering when is it going to happen.

As long as you don't waver and be deterred by doubt, it is already on its way to you!

There are hundreds of ways to practise the law of attraction and i dont think I'm an expert in it. But the most popular (i think) quote on law of attraction is "Whatever Your Mind Can Conceive and Believe, It Can Achieve.” – Napoleon Hill.

And so it is!
